LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT 

I acknowledge that the land I am on today—like every place I pass through in my travels—has long been cared for by Indigenous Peoples. Across what is now called Canada, these lands are the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territories of many First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.

As someone who lives and works on the road, I am a guest wherever I park, pass through, or pause. I recognize that my mobility is made possible by lands shaped by generations of Indigenous knowledge, stewardship, and resilience. I offer this acknowledgement with gratitude, respect, and a commitment to learning from the peoples whose relationship to this land is deep, enduring, and ongoing.
